Thermowell is provided to protect the basic sensor from mechanical damage and corrosion. An extremely sturdy design may increase the life of the sensor but may lead to a poor response. Similarly, a delicate design will have poor life but will improve the response time. Therefore, a proper balance needs to be struck. T

hese Titanium Tufftriding pot used in Furnace to heat up the various type of Automobile Pistons & rings in Automobile Industries. The TUFFTRIDE process has been applied in a wide range of industries throughout the world for many decades. It is used to improve the wear resistance, the fatigue strength, and – in particular when combined with oxidative cooling – the corrosion resistance of components made from steel, cast iron, and sintered iron materials. In many cases, the TUFFTRIDE process is used as an alternative to other surface engineering processes such as case hardening, galvanic (e.g. hard chrome plating), and other coating processes (plastic coating, painting, laser coating, etc.), also plasma or gas nitro-carburizing with equally good or improved quality and greater economy. The components are placed in a heated salt bath where a reaction takes place between the salt melt and the surface of the components. During the reaction nitrogen and carbon are absorbed and diffused. It is operated in a pot made from special material, and the pot is fitted with an aeration device. The material is then scooped up with a ladle from the crucible (the pot that holds the molten material). The material is then allowed to cool. Furnace designs vary as to their function, heating duty, type of fuel, and method of introducing combustion air.

We produce high-quality Titanium mesh. Titanium Wire Meshes are highly resistant to the corrosive environment. We can produce Titanium mesh with titanium TA1 or TA2 or by customer’s requirement. Grade 2 is the commercially pure titanium used in most chemical processing plants and is cold-formable. Grade 2 plate and sheet can have an ultimate tensile strength at and above 40,000 psi. Grade 5 is aerospace-grade and is not cold-formable, so it is used more often when no forming is needed. Titanium Wire Mesh possesses a silver-white appearance. Titanium mesh has significant durability, lightweight, and corrosion resistance properties. asket Strainers are generally used where high flow capacity is required. Basket Strainers are also available in a duplex style which consists of two parallel basket Strainers and diverting valves, which permit diversion of the flow through one of the Strainer elements while the other element is being serviced-an essential feature where the flow cannot be interrupted. Strainers do not necessarily remove only dirt. They take out material that is not wanted in the fluid and this can sometimes be a valuable product that may be saved. Basket strainers are designed for installation in horizontal lines. They are commonly used for liquid service applications.

 

"A closed vessel with cleanable screen element designed to remove and retain foreign particles down to 0.001 inch diameter from various flowing fluids."

 

When the filter is operating, the water to be filtered enters the strainer basket thru the inlet, flows through the filter panel, and enters the desired pipe through the process flow outlet. Particle/solid impurities present in the water are stuck inside the basket filter screen. With this continuous flow, more and more particles are caught, and the speed of filtering gets slower over time and the filter hole would get narrower and smaller, this results in a pressure differential between the inlet and the outlet. A pressure gauge installed before and after a strainer will indicate a pressure loss due to clogging. This can help in establishing a maintenance schedule for cleaning the strainer screen. Extra screens can useful in keeping the system operating during the cleaning process. As the gap between inlet and outlet pressure exceeds the fixed value, the differential pressure sensor transmits the electrical signal to the controller, and the control mechanism begins the drive motor to rotate the shaft via the transmitting element. At the same time, the blowing port is opened and discharge of debris takes place from the blowing port.

TITANIUM STRAINERS

Warning: Before the removal or loosening of any bushing, cap, plug, or cover on a strainer, extreme caution should be exercised to ensure there is zero pounds pressure in the system.

Only after the system has been depressurized, should the strainer be drained for service. Service on a pressurized Strainer can cause serious injury and/or property damage.

Basket strainers with a closed bottom basket can be cleaned by removing the cap or cover and pulling out the basket screen for service. If the strainer screen is bottomless the blow-off plug can be removed allowing it to be drained and cleaned like a Y-strainer.

Care should be taken in cleaning screens. After removing a screen, it should be soaked in a cleaning solution or cleaned by using a brush. Do not allow trapped material in the screen to harden, as it will be difficult to remove. A regular cleaning schedule is recommended to avoid screens from becoming clogged.

Threaded fasteners are among the most commonly used for assembling components due to the ease in which they can be installed and uninstalled as needed. There are three main types of threaded fastener; Bolts, Screws and Studs.

Bolts have a head on one end (this is usually a hex head) and are threaded on the other. They are generally used in conjunction with a nut (and sometimes a washer) to hold them in place. Screws are similar to bolts in that they have a head on one end and a thread on the other. They key difference is that screws are usually used to screw into an internally threaded hole. There are many different types of screws, such as Cap Screws, Machine Screws, and Woodscrews. Studs are threaded on both ends, and therefore have no head. They are used to join two components with internally threaded holes together.

Fastener threads are standardised to two major standards: ISO (Metric) and ANSI (Unified). Threads can also be right-handed or left-handed, depending on the application. However, the majority of common fasteners are right-hand threaded.

Nuts are used in conjunction with a bolt to clamp two or more parts together. The most common type of nut is a Hexagonal Nut, but there are several different types of nuts for use in different applications.

Hex Nuts- A plain, hexagonal nut with an internal thread. These are by far the most common type of nut, and are used in numerous industries and applications.

Washers are commonly used between the head of a bolt, screw or nut and the material they are clamping. Their primary function is to increase the bearing area of the head whilst also protecting the material underneath from damage. There are several different types of Washer, each with their own uses.

Flat Washers - These are the most common type of washer and are used to evenly distribute the load of the bolt, screw or nut as the fastener is tightened.

MANUFACTURING OF IMPELLER FOR STEEL INDUSTRY:

Steel plant requires several ID fans for numerous purposes like- removing and cleaning waste gases, drying & heating ore pellets, cooling the product to remove heat, etc. The ID fans takes the hazardous air out of the systems. The hot gases from the machines such as boilers or furnaces are withdrawn by the ID fans and transferred into the outer atmosphere after the purification process.
