Wherever there is a need for cooling water; Corrosion, Scale, Bio-fouling and Algae are the cause concern for engineers & management. Together they create major problems, including health hazards, increased electricity increase in water consumption, reduction in cooling efficiency and life expectancy of equipments.
Until now, in the Cooling towers, the common method of treatment for these problems entailed the use of chemicals and unguaranteed results. However, state of art "Scalcium" remover produces Oxidants in the water. Oxidants prevents the corrosion, Bio-fouling, Scaling, Micro-organism growth and spread of airborne bacteria.
Scalcium remover is having two main units; they are SPR & Electro-Chlorinator. Here the SPR is used to remove the scales from the raw water and control the TDS available in the water. Electro chlorinator generates available chlorine which takes care of bio-fouling and Algae.
O & M of the system is a user friendly, because it is having a self cleaning and Self calibration arrangement. Also data acquisition & control has to been done by GSM technology, will help us access the system with Local Area Network & internet; leads fault identification and refinement is very easy. Scalcium remover saves up to 60% on operational cost by means of savings on chemicals purchase (no chemical injection is needed), decrease the water usage, lower energy and labor costs.
