Normally,
anodes consist of basic component, which is responsible for
mechanical stability and uniform current distribution. As
titanium has all these character, insoluble anodes are manufactured
with titanium as a basic component. Anodes are occasionally
manufactured on Niobium, Tantalum and Zirconium. In general,
anodes are available in the form of plate, mesh, rod, wire,
ribbon and customs built. Electro-catalytically selective
DSA titanium anodes from TAF
are
to use for various application, referred in our electrode
selection guide. It proves superior
to conventional Nickel, Lead, Lead alloy, Steel, Graphite
& Magnetite anodes.

Using
our anodes saves money on
.
Substrate:
A one-time investment; Anodes can be recoated for a fraction
of what it world cost to replace worn-out conventional anodes.
Labour: With our anodes, the sludge commonly encountered
with conventional anodes, e.g., nickel, lead, steel, and magnetite
is virtually nonexistent, saving you the cost of labour intensive
sludge removal as well as their disposal costs. Manufacturing:
As anodes are titanium based there is no build-up of lead
and other heavy metal contaminants. Environmental liability:
Anodes are environmentally friendly; no hazardous waste sludge
is produced. Energy: Lowering in cell voltage to extent
of 0.4 - 0.5V leading to 10-15% saving in energy consumption.
Production costs: High corrosion resistance of anodes
makes for long lasting performance.
